Students of FIRST® LEGO® League Jr., FIRST® LEGO® League and FIRST® Tech Challenge Class Packs will participate in host school-based expos and competitions.
FIRST Class Packs provide educators with materials to support 30 students, including Team Meeting and Planning Guides for educators, Engineering Notebooks for students, and a Program Administrator's Guide, which outlines how to run school- or organization-based events and competitions.
A School Pack, supporting up to 144 students, is also available exclusively for FIRST LEGO League Jr.
Class Pack editions of FIRST® LEGO® League Jr., FIRST®LEGO® League and FIRST® Tech Challenge require an additional team registration fee to compete in official FIRST events and competitions.
FIRST Certified Professional Development is an immersive learning experience that will help you acquire or strengthen your facilitation skills for project-based learning curriculum and 21st century skills such as creativity, problem solving, and teamwork in an active learning environment. Each course is led by a FIRST Certified Teacher Trainer and provides the necessary tools to bring FIRST LEGO League Jr., FIRST LEGO League, and FIRST Tech Challenge to your classroom or as a structured afterschool program. Certificates for 14 hours of training, that can be submitted for CEU’s in most states, are provided at the completion of training.
Each training session is customized to meet the needs of individual or teams of teachers and facilitators regardless of their prior coding, programming, or robotics experience.
