for STEM Education with FIRST®

FIRST® programs introduce students to coding and engineering in an environment where they work collaboratively to solve a robotics challenge. FIRST programs are proven to build 21st century skills, including innovative thinking, and greatly increase students’ motivation to seek education and careers in STEM fields.

After 30 years of changing the lives of millions of participants with the individual, competitive team experience, we are pleased to introduce Class Pack editions of our STEM education programs for PreK-12 students. This non-competitive offering benefits educators wishing to implement STEM/robotics in their classrooms or structured after-school programs, as well as those wanting to expand the high-quality, project-based-learning experience of FIRST programs to more of their students. Students will enjoy the excitement of competition through expos and competitions hosted by their school.



Students in grades PreK-4 are introduced to STEM through playful learning experiences. As they explore a real-world challenge, they'll ignite a passion for learning and curiosity, and build a foundation for their future using LEGO® Education STEAM Park and WeDo 2.0.

Students in grades 4-8 will develop, design, build, and code LEGO® Education robots to perform missions on a themed playing field and design innovative solutions to a real-world problem related to that theme.

Students in grades 7-12 explore the possibilities of STEM through a semester-long course that provides the opportunity to work as designers and engineers as they design, build, program, and operate robots to complete a themed challenge.
