Program Updates, Deadlines & Reminders
New Team Blast schedule: Team Blasts will transition to Tuesdays during the competition season starting Tuesday, March 7. If your team qualifies and registers for FIRST® Championship, be on the lookout for Championship Blasts on Thursdays.
Event Surveys: After your team attends a FIRST® Robotics Competition event, we’ll send you a short survey to learn about your experience. The link to the survey is sent to teams the Monday after the event and remains open for one week. Team feedback is important as it is used to improve FIRST Robotics Competition. We thank you in advance for your participation!
FIRST Updates
Youth Team Members Registration: All Youth Team Members are required to complete the online youth registration to participate in FIRST remote and in-person team meetings, events, or competitions. For instructions and tutorials, please see the Youth Registration Overview. Please contact or direct parent/guardians to Team Support for help.
FIRST Championship Information: As noted in the blog earlier this week, FIRST Robotics Competition teams attending FIRST Championship can find program-specific information on the FIRST Robotics Competition Championship page.
Community Engagement
Volunteer at a FIRST Robotics Competition Event: Help us ensure teams have the best experience this season by donating your time as a FIRST Robotics Competition event volunteer. We have both technical and non-technical roles available, including some partial- day opportunities. Check out these instructions on how to apply and sign up to volunteer at an event near you!
Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship: The deadline for submissions is tomorrow Friday, February 24, 2023. If you have team members interested in medicine or biomedical engineering after high school, be sure they apply today for this $10,000 USD renewable scholarship.
