Additional Events: Additional Play Event Registration is now open for unrestricted regional events and in-district events. Additional inter-district event registration opens November 7 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

All events registration will close at 12:00 p.m. ET Monday, November 13.

Upcoming! Award Submissions: The 2023 FIRST^® Impact Award, Dean's List Award, and Woodie Flowers Award application portals will open on Thursday, November 2, at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Please note:

✏️ A signed consent form is required for students to be assigned as a FIRST Impact Award and Woodie Flowers Award submitter as well as nominated and interviewed for the Dean’s List Award.

✏️Lead mentors 1 and 2 are now able to submit for the FIRST Impact Award. While this option is available, we still strongly encourage this submission to be made by students.

Building skills and engaging: We share two new available activities to help build skills and engage with the community on our FIRST^® Robotics Competition Blog.

FIRST Updates

FIRST Memorial Scholarship Applications Open (Global): Applications for this year's Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship and Woodie Flowers Memorial Grant are now available along with other FIRST Scholarship opportunities: 

Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship awards four (4) $10,000 renewable scholarships annually for students pursuing medical or biomedical programs.  

The Woodie Flowers Memorial Grant is available to last season's Dean's List Award Winners and awards one (1) $10,000 renewable scholarship annually to a student pursuing a degree that will lead to "a meaningful life"

In this spirit, we are proud to launch our third year of the Inspire the Future: FIRST Educators Recognition Program. NEW this year, you may nominate outstanding schools as part of the first annual Inspire the Future: FIRST School Recognition Program. Help us celebrate the FIRST educators and schools who inspire their learning communities and advance the mission of FIRST by submitting a nomination.
