Use of Artificial Intelligence: A new blog post was shared yesterday on the FIRST^® Community Blog with information about the use of Artificial Intelligence in FIRST programs.

Prepare your team for the 2024 Season: Check out this FIRST^® Robotics Competition Blog that shares some of the new resources available to teams including the updated Mentor Guide, Scouting Resources, Worksheets, and more!

Open! Award Submissions: The 2024 FIRST Impact Award, Dean's List Award, and Woodie Flowers Award application portals opened today Thursday, November 2, at 12:00 p.m. ET. Find more information, including steps to designate an award submitter and the deadline, on the Awards page and our Helpful Tips for Award Submissions page.  

Please note:

✏️ A signed consent form is required for students to be assigned as a FIRST Impact Award and Woodie Flowers Award submitter as well as nominated and interviewed for the Dean’s List Award.

✏️Lead mentors 1 and 2 are able to submit for the FIRST Impact Award. While this option is available, we still strongly encourage this submission to be made by students.

Due Soon! 2024 Team Registration Payment: The 2024 team registration due date is Monday, November 13, at 5:00 p.m. ET. View any funding on your team’s account and don’t forget to complete the checkout process.

If your team is waiting on a restricted grant to be applied, please do not check out. If your grant is not applied by the payment due date, your team will not be dropped from the season. We will continue to actively work with teams on their registration status.

Upcoming deadline! Kit & Kickoff Registration: The Kit and Kickoff shipping information is due on Monday, November 13, at 12:00 p.m. noon ET. Shipping information for the Kit of Parts for secured teams cannot be updated through the system after this deadline. Teams that wish to register and receive a Kit of Parts after this deadline will need to contact Team Support via email.

Unrestricted Event Registration: Registration for All Events closes on Monday, November 13, at 12:00 p.m. noon ET. Teams that wish to register for an event after this deadline will need to will need to contact Team Support via email.

Reminder! Safety Animation Award Sponsored by UL Solutions: The Safety Animation Award is closing on Thursday, November 30, at 3:00 p.m. ET. Be sure to submit your animation via the FIRST Dashboard before the deadline.
