FIRST Updates

FIRST Dashboard Maintenance May 6-14: From May 6 through May 14, the FIRST Dashboard will be undergoing scheduled maintenance and Thinkscape access through the FIRST Dashboard will be unavailable. Your team roster will also be unavailable, and we recommend that you print your team roster prior to the Dashboard maintenance, if needed, as well as any 2024 voucher codes and passwords that you would like to use or redeem during this period.

Community Engagement 

The FIRST & U.S. Air Force Leadership Experience is back for the 12th year! NEW this year, there will be two Leadership Experiences: June 23-27 (Patrick Space Force Base) and July 21-25 (Wright-Patterson Air Force Base)! This summer, the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force will be hosting 24 lucky FIRST^® Tech Challenge and FIRST^® Robotics Competition mentors & coaches per Leadership Experience (must be a K-12 teacher within the continental USA) for a 3-day, 4-night all-expenses paid trip filled with leadership training, guest speakers, and amazing tours. If you’re interested, please submit an application by Friday, May 17, 2024, for consideration. Good luck!

2024 National Advocacy Conference: Has your team been eagerly looking for an opportunity to impact STEM education nationwide? Have you thought about getting involved in advocacy in the past? This is your chance to make it easy and have a HUGE impact! Come to Washington D.C. to attend the 11th annual National Advocacy Conference (NAC). During the first day and a half, students are trained on everything they need to know to successfully advocate for robotics. On the final day of the conference, teams meet with their Members of Congress, promoting robotics and STEM education on behalf of every student in America! This unique and exciting experience encourages participants to learn about advocacy and build relationships with their elected officials while gaining a tremendous amount of confidence! We need your help to make an impact!
