The 2019 Global Innovation Award celebrated FIRST® LEGO® League teams’ innovative solutions to the problems humans face during long-duration space exploration. Team FrancoDroid from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, took the top award — a $20,000 prize — for CosmoCup, which aims to make space more accessible to women.
