Twenty FIRST^® LEGO^® League teams were honored for their innovative solutions last weekend during the tenth annual Global Innovation Award presented by Disney, which was held as a remote broadcast on FIRSTtv. Submissions ranged from biometric hardhats and sustainable road sealants to inclusive communication tools in playgrounds and created spaces to reduce food deserts. Congratulations to the winning team, Aldeatron Robotix of the Canary Islands, Spain, the runners-up, and all the semi-finalist teams.
