Coming to you from FIRST® Headquarters in Manchester, NH, USA.

Hi Friend,

We hope that you’re having fun exploring and building with your students!

Did you recently bring FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. Discovery Edition to your classroom? Check out last month’s email here.

Developing habits of learning
In FIRST LEGO League Jr. Discovery Edition, students ignite their natural curiosity, grow their knowledge, and develop habits of learning throughout their experience.

One of these habits is listen and empathize. I know what you mean.

Celebrate the season!
All teams should participate in a Celebration Event at the end of the season; children will love sharing what they’ve built and learned. The celebration could be held in your usual meeting space, a classroom, library, or anywhere else that has appropriate space. Details about holding your Celebration Event can be found in Session 10 of the Team Meeting Guide.

Research shows that learning STEM is similar to learning a language. This article from We Are Teachers showcases the benefits of exposing young learners to FIRST LEGO League Jr. Discovery Edition.
