Control Hub Availability Update
The REV Robotics Control Hub, a core component of the reusable
FIRST Tech Challenge robot kit is currently unavailable due to ongoing global supply chain disruptions. We are working closely with our supply partners to address these challenges and will share more information as it becomes available.
Sign up to receive updates on Control Hub availability.
New
FIRST Tech Challenge teams that register for the 2022-2023 season can place an order for the Control Hub* and purchase the other robotics kit elements through the
FIRST Tech Challenge Storefront and get started designing and building their robot. To keep students engaged until the Control Hub arrives, teams can utilize
FIRST® @ Home activities. More resources are in development and will be available this fall.
If Control Hubs are not available by October 1, 2022, new FIRST Tech Challenge teams registering through the FIRST Dashboard* can request a voucher covering their registration fee ($295) for the 2023-2024 season if their team is unable to compete during the POWERPLAY presented by Raytheon Technologies season due to Control Hub availability.
Returning teams can place an order for a Control Hub** through the FIRST Tech Challenge Storefront, however, we encourage teams to utilize existing hardware for the 2022-2023 season if possible.
*For teams outside of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico who do not register in the FIRST Dashboard, please contact your local Program Delivery Partner for registration and product information.
**All products on your team’s order, except the Control Hub, will be invoiced at the time of purchase. Control Hubs will be invoiced separately upon shipping.

FedEx Social Challenge Deadline Extended
FIRST Tech Challenge and
FIRST® Robotics Competition teams have 2 more weeks to enter the FedEx social challenge! Each participating team must design a way to move (or “deliver”) an object from one location to another without using their hands. Students can use their team robot or devise some other mechanical operation in which to “deliver” their small object.
Learn more about the challenge rules and how to enter by the deadline on June 16, 2022.
