New Resources Available!
Did you know that
FIRST Tech Challenge makes all their volunteer training manuals available to the public? If you’re interested in checking them out, you can find them online on our
Volunteer Resources page.
This week, the following resources are now available!
Field Assembly Reminder
When assembling the low, medium, and high junctions, please read the
assembly instructions carefully. The 3.5 inch hex head cap screw should stick out approximately 9/16 inches from the bottom of the pole. The stopper that is placed into each pole must not sit flush with the base of the pole, as this will cause the pole to crack.
Read the Field Setup and Assembly Guide here.
FIRST Tech Challenge Frequently Asked Questions
FIRST Tech Challenge has pulled together a resource to help answer some of our common team questions from registration to competitive judging.
Check it out on our website.
Team Reminder – Completing Your Team Profile
Make sure your team is ready for your first event. Please fill out your team profile and make sure you’ve listed your lead coach/mentor 1 and 2, and they’ve completed their Youth Protection requirement to make sure your team is eligible for competition.
FIRST® Students are More Than
At FIRST, we want EVERY kid to believe in themselves and know that they are More Than the stereotypes or ‘boxes’ society has placed them in. In a new public service announcement (PSA), we call on adults to encourage the young people in their life to engage in new opportunities that might seem outside their comfort zone and help promote self-esteem through STEM-related activities.
Together, we can inspire kids everywhere to take pride in being exactly who they are. Learn more about the
More Than campaign and use our
social media toolkit to grow the movement and share your story using
#IAmMoreThan.
