FTC SIM Argosy Rookie Team Grant (USA & Canada)
FTC SIM is a virtual coding tool that allows users to code and run a virtual FIRST Tech Challenge robot autonomously for free! Users can learn everything from basic movement to how to use sensors by completing a series of puzzles using Blocks or Java.
The Argosy foundation is empowering FTC SIM users to take their virtual robotics experience to the next level by providing 108 x $1000 USD grants towards starting a competitive FIRST Tech Challenge Team in North America. The grant will cover a team’s registration fee and can be used towards products in the FIRST Tech Challenge storefront.
Information on how to qualify and the application process is available at this link. Learn more about FTC SIM and the grant in our latest blog post.

Kit of Parts Options and Pricing
Check out what you need to order for this season with our Kit of Parts Options and Pricing. You can find more information about the TETRIX and REV Robotics robot kits in our Build of Materials on our Cost and Registration page.
FIRST Tech Challenge Camp Guide
The FIRST Tech Challenge Camp Guide provides guidance on how to run a weeklong camp to introduce campers (ages 12-18) to block-based programming, building robots, mechanics, and problem solving. Campers will spend their days doing teambuilding activities, hands-on building, programming, and having fun!
Gaffers Tape Change Reminder
Starting in the 2023-2024 season, FIRST Tech Challenge has made the decision to switch from using 2-inch gaffers tape to 1-inch gaffers tape on the playing field for official tournaments. We feel this will be a significant cost savings to teams and program delivery partners going forward.
Program Delivery Partners and event hosts will need to purchase 1-inch gaffers tape for playing field tape lines starting in the 2023-2024 season. Program Delivery Partners and event hosts can still utilize the 2-inch gaffers tape to create alliance stations. Specs will be provided in the field setup and assembly guide released in September 2023.
