As we wrap FIRST Championship presented by BAE Systems—we are reflecting with gratitude on the incredible community that makes it all possible. Thank YOU for the time, energy, and heart you gave this season as a mentor. Your support helped students build not only robots, but also confidence, skills, and a vision for a better tomorrow. 

Your impact is already extraordinary—but did you know it could be doubled? Many companies offer matching gift programs that match donations or volunteer hours with additional contributions. 

Take a moment to check with your employer and see if your time or donations to FIRST could be matched.  

*Matching gifts intended to support a region or team should be designated to the local program delivery partner/ team/ school/ associated organization directly. Funds directed to FIRST support the quality programs you know and love and help keep the costs down for all participants.  

National Advocacy Conference 2025
The National Advocacy Conference (NAC) is approaching! Join other robotics teams from across the country to advocate for STEM in Washington DC. If you’ve thought about getting into advocacy in the past, this event is for you!   

The 2025 NAC will be held from Sunday, June 22, to Tuesday, June 24. In the first day and a half, you will be trained on everything you need to know to successfully advocate for STEM. You’ll have the amazing experience of meeting with your Members of Congress and their staff to discuss the importance of robotics and STEM education.  

Read what one of NAC’s past participants, had to say about his experience: 

“I was a sophomore when I attended NAC for the first time. Having been involved in robotics for several years beforehand, I understood the importance and impact of STEM programs on students. From learning about current policy and the infrastructure that supports STEM to meeting with legislators and sharing my story, NAC completely transformed the way I view my place in the world of STEM. Even today, I use the skills I learned at my first NAC every day — to speak up for what I believe in and to achieve what I set out to accomplish.”
