National Advocacy Conference
Already thinking about summer plans? Consider attending the National Advocacy Conference (NAC), hosted by one of our partner organizations, the Student Association for STEM Advocacy.  

For 12 years, FIRST teams have been attending NAC to learn about federal advocacy and bringing what they learn home to their communities.  

The SASA National Advocacy Conference takes place annually in June in Washington, DC. Participants attend a day and a half of training and then have the opportunity to meet with their Members of Congress to advocate on behalf of every student in America, promoting robotics and STEM education. Within three days students will gain confidence, public speaking skills, and meet with our nation’s leaders to explain the importance of STEM!  

The conference includes group practice time with experienced advocates, opportunities to engage with leaders in the advocacy field, and time to network with robotics teams across the country to help you prepare for your meetings.  

Join SASA at NAC to give your kids an experience they won’t forget June 22-24!
