Program Updates, Deadlines, & Reminders

Systemcore Updates: We have started to receive questions on Systemcore availability and resources. At this time, we do not have any updates beyond what has been posted in the blog previously. We understand that this will be a transition for teams and are designing transition documentation and getting started resources accordingly. Additionally, teams are welcome to follow-along with testing by tracking the GitHub repository and can use the WPILib releases there in simulation to test out any significant API changes as they get added such as OpModes (partially implemented, Command support coming soon) or Telemetry (coming soon). While the changes are certainly more significant than a typical year, the majority of the wiring and programming skills teams have developed with roboRIO will transfer over to Systemcore. We are working on finalizing details for public sale of Systemcore units and hope to be able to share that information soon via the Blog.

FIRST Account Maintenance Reminder: FIRST accounts are reset at the beginning of each season. Users will need to log in to the FIRST Dashboard to accept the FIRST policies and the season’s Consent & Release form, update their profiles, and renew the Youth Protection screening if expired.  

Resource of the Week: If you haven’t yet, we highly recommend evaluating how your 2026 season went. Check out our editable End of Season Survey template (file automatically downloads) to help your team gather honest feedback about team culture, communication, leadership, inclusion, mentor support, and overall team experience. Teams are encouraged to customize this resource to match their team structure, goals, and community and/or use it to make an online survey using tools such as Google Forms, Survey Monkey, or Microsoft Forms. Using online surveys is much quicker to collect responses, includes useful analysis and summary tools, and allows respondents to answer online when they have time.
