End of Season Survey: The end of season survey was sent out to all lead mentors and youth members and closes on Friday, June 7, 2024. Please help us by filling out the survey sent to your email and providing your team’s feedback about this season!

FIRST^® Robotics Competition Season Calendar: Check out the FIRST Robotics Competition Calendar which is updated with key dates related to the 2025 season all the way through FIRST^® Championship. You can even use the add to calendar button on each entry to add dates to your team’s calendar!

Summer Task Force Feedback: Don’t forget that if you have feedback that you want to share on the various topics we are reviewing this summer, that you need to provide that via the form in this blog by June 7 for consideration.

FIRST Updates

Regrants: Team leads for U.S. teams that have a “credit balance” in their FIRST account must submit regrant requests before June 30, 2024. If not regranted, any of the remaining funds are re-designated based on sponsor intent. Due to the extreme generosity of donors & sponsors, many teams have funds still available in their FIRST accounts, and we want to ensure that they capture those funds. Community Engagement 

The FIRST^® IN SHOW^SM presented by Qualcomm season may be over, but there’s still time to double or triple your impact. Your employer may have a matching gift program. As a charity focused on youth education, FIRST may be eligible to receive funding from your employer because of your support through volunteer hours and/or your financial gifts. Log your support today! 

Team 67 Time Capsule: At FIRST Championship, we opened a 25-year-old time capsule from Team 67. Watch the video to see what the current team members unearthed!

FIRST Scholarship Program Spotlight: High School Student Opportunity: FIRST Scholarship Provider TKS, a top innovation program for students ages 13-17, is recruiting students to join their Fall 2024 Program and is offering a scholarship to FIRST students. Forward this to students to use the scholarship code TKSFIRST when applying to receive one month of tuition if accepted! In 10 months, students gain real-world work experience with organizations like Google, Meta, Microsoft, the World Economic Forum and Mastercard and understand emerging technologies like AI, Quantum Computing, Synthetic Biology, Regenerative Medicine, Nanotech, and Blockchain. They will be mentored by industry professionals and build projects that can be used to stand out in university and career applications and internships.
