Program Updates, Deadlines, & Reminders

Reminder! 2026 Kit of Parts Survey: We want to hear from you! The 2026 Kit of Parts survey is now available. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. We ask that no more than one student and one mentor from each team fill it out. You must be at least 13 years old to enter a response. The survey closes on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Regrants: Lead coaches or team administrators for U.S. teams that have a “credit balance” in their FIRST account must submit regrant requests before June 30, 2026. If not regranted, any of the remaining funds are re-designated based on sponsor intent. Due to the extreme generosity of donors & sponsors, many teams have funds still available in their FIRST accounts, and we want to ensure that they capture those funds. See the regrant policies and procedures page for more details.

FIRST Robotics Competition Guided Experience Resource: Now that the season is over, it’s a great time to spend time building skills. The FIRST Robotics Competition Guided Experience provides teams with a fun, flexible, interactive way to learn the skills, resources, and information needed to have a successful team. This training path contains 12 interactive modules featuring hands-on guided activities, team-based challenges, and downloadable resources that support pre-season learning build season preparation, and getting ready for competition. These trainings engage learners in real-world problem-solving, collaboration, and technical skill development.

Reminder! Make sure your 2025-2026 roster is complete: If you're planning to participate at a late/off-season event, make sure all student participants and coaches/mentors appear on your team roster. When the FIRST Dashboard closes for the 2025-2026 season, your roster will be locked.
