Hi Friend,

Community Engagement
Live panel with BAE Systems Engineers & FIRST® Volunteers: Over the past 30 years, the FIRST Championship has evolved from a single robotics competition in a high school gymnasium in New Hampshire to a global event that now attracts more than 3,000 teams from the United States to Kazakhstan, Argentina to Vietnam, Israel to Chile, and more than 20 other nations. And for the past two decades, BAE Systems, Inc. has proudly partnered with FIRST to create opportunities for students from all backgrounds to pursue degrees and careers in STEM.
But what goes into making a winning championship team? What can participants expect to learn through the course of the competition that will help prepare them for a career in engineering? And how has the field of robotics evolved alongside the competition?
We hope you'll join us for a live discussion with BAE Systems' engineers who have volunteered to help FIRST teams for decades as they explore these and other topics on March 29 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Visit The BAE Systems Facebook or LinkedIn page for more information.
