Program Updates & Reminders

Now Open! Additional Event Registration: Additional Play Event Registration for unrestricted regional events and in-district events is now open. All event registration will close at 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET Tuesday, November 12. Payment is due for additional events on January 22, 2025. 

Now Open! Award Submissions: The 2025 FIRST^® Impact Award, Dean's List Award, and Woodie Flowers Award application portals are now open. Please find information on the Awards page, as well as tips and instructions on how to designate an award submitter. To see deadlines for award submissions, visit the Season Calendar. Now Open! Volunteer Registration: Volunteer Registration is now open for all FIRST^® Robotics Competition Events, including FIRST Championship! Volunteers can search for the events by selecting “Event volunteers” and then filtering to the “FIRST Robotics Competition” events, and finding events close to them or can reference our Step-by-Step Instructions. 

Reminder! Upcoming Team Registration Payment Due Date: 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition team registration payment is due Tuesday, November 12, at 5:00 p.m. ET for all rookie and veteran teams registered for their initial 2025 event. For additional information and tips on ensuring your team’s registration payment is completed on time, read our Essential Steps to Secure Payments and Meet Seasonal Demands Blog. 

If your team is waiting on grant funding or a purchase order to cover the cost of your team registration, please check your Dashboard to ensure all expected funding has been added to your account before completing your purchase. Team registration payment methods cannot be changed after checking out.
