Program Updates, Deadlines, & Reminders

Closing Soon! FIRST^® Robotics Competition Event Registration, Second Event Preference: Second event preferencing closes in a few hours at 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET, October 24. For more information about event preferencing visit our Event Preference User Guide. Prior to submitting your preferences, check the location of each event as they may have changed from last season. 

Late Registration for Second Events: Event Ready teams that missed the second event preferencing can pick their event in our late registration period that opens on Friday, October 25, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET. 

Opening Soon! Additional Event Registration: Additional Play Event Registration for unrestricted regional events and in-district events opens Thursday, October 31 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET. All event registration will close at 12:00 p.m. (noon) ET Tuesday, November 12. Payment is due for additional events on January 22, 2025. 

Opening Soon! Award Submissions: The 2025 FIRST^® Impact Award, Dean's List Award, and Woodie Flowers Award application portals will open on Thursday, October 31, at 12:00 p.m. ET. Please find information on the Awards page, as well as tips and instructions on how to designate an award submitter.
