Closing Soon! First Event Registration, First Preference: Round 1 of event preferencing closes in a few hours at 12:00 p.m. noon ET, October 1. For more information about event preferencing visit our Event Preference User Guide. Prior to submitting your preferences, check the location of each event as they may have changed from last season. 

Late Registration for First Events: Event Ready teams that missed the first round of event preferencing can now pick their event in our late registration period. Teams must be “event ready” (no outstanding tasks on the FIRST^® Dashboard) in order to register for a first event.

Regrant Portal Open: The Regrant Portal opened October 1 and will remain open until October 31, 2025. For eligibility requirements and regranting windows, please visit Regranting, Process, Procedures, and W-9.    

Program Deadlines: Check the FIRST^® Robotics Competition Season Calendar frequently to stay up to date on important deadlines. You can even use the “add to calendar” button to add specific reminders to your own calendar.  

Resource of the Week: This week’s resource is the FIRST Robotics Competition Mentor Guide. This guide was recently updated and is intended to help teams with best practices for running a FIRST Robotics Competition team and includes information on a typical season calendar, the Lead Coach role, and other important information to help set your team up for success.
