Program Updates, Deadlines, & Reminders
Open Now! FIRST® Robotics Competition Event Registration, Second Event Preference: Round 2 of event preferencing opened today. Teams must be registered or waitlisted for a first event in order to preference events in Round 2. Be sure to review our Event Preference User Guide for step-by-step instructions and an FAQ.
Reminder! Kit and Kickoff Registration: Be sure to register for how you want to receive your Kickoff Kit by Tuesday, November 12, at 12:00 noon ET. Teams are invited to select a local Kickoff location or opt to instead be a MySite team for an additional charge. Visit Kickoff for more details.
We highly recommend teams pick up their Kickoff Kit at a local Kickoff in order to receive it on Kickoff Day. If a team opts to be a MySite team (have their Kickoff Kit shipped), it will ship after Kickoff and only once a team has secured. There is no guaranteed delivery date, but it will be after Kickoff.
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST provide a Kickoff Kit shipment address, even if your team selects to pick up their Kit at a local Kickoff, in the event the team is switched to a MySite.

FIRST Updates
Check Out the New FIRST “Get Anywhere” Brand Campaign! The breadth of career opportunities that an education in STEM provides is wider than ever. Today’s students are inspired by FIRST to build futures tailored to their unique talents and interests – in diverse fields from engineering to art, pursued through pathways such as higher education and skills-based training. FIRST is thrilled to announce the launch of “Get Anywhere,” a national brand campaign to grow awareness of how FIRST prepares young people for anything they choose to do after high school. While students figure out their tomorrows, you are helping them build their skills today. Learn more about #GetAnywhere. You can use the Get Anywhere social media toolkit to help share stories from your team and help even more students #GetAnywhere.
Register Youth Team Members: The parent or guardian of every youth team member is required to complete the FIRST youth registration process for their participant before they may participate in any organized team activities. This electronic process must be completed prior to the student attending any team meetings or any FIRST events or competitions. For more information and instructions on how to complete the online youth team member registration process, visit the Youth Registration System Overview.
Express Enrollment: Coaches and mentors in the United States and Canada with completed FIRST Youth Protection Screenings can take advantage of Express Enrollment, which provides a simplified experience on mobile and desktop to register and accept youth to FIRST teams. View Express Enrollment Coach/Mentor Instructions and the Express Enrollment Parent/Guardian Instructions. Have questions? Check out our FAQ or contact FIRST Support.
