Questions about the new changes to the Stop Build Day rules? The Q&A opened yesterday, and lead mentors should have received an email with their Team Authorization Code to access the Q&A. This will allow teams to ask questions about the meaning of the new rules and get official answers. For any questions about this process, please email firstroboticscompetition@firstinspires.org.

Reminder! Event Preferencing: The first round of event preferencing will open Thursday, September 19 at 12 noon ET. Only event-ready teams will be able to select their event preferences, so please make sure your team’s lead mentors are assigned, their profiles are completed, and that they are screened (Only U.S. and Canada teams are required to complete screening). New Team Growth Grant: In case you missed it, this season we are offering the New Team Growth Grant. This grant is open to newly formed FIRST® Robotics Competition teams that are either Rookies or non-Rookies not formed by Separation or Combine. More information about these definitions is here. Want to work for FIRST®? We are seeking a Software Engineer that is involved with the development, testing, and maintenance of the software used at FIRST Robotics Competition events. This person will collaborate with the Engineering team to prototype, configure, test, and release software for event management and scoring. Plus, you get to help design the game!  So, if you enjoy producing creative solutions to complex problems, have a healthy interest in software development and prototyping, and enjoy collaboration and supporting team members, this role is for you!
