Manchester Kickoff Field Access
As we announced in this blog, local Kickoffs will have no longer have field elements built for teams to access. Although there will be a full competition field at the 2019 Manchester Kickoff, teams will NOT have access to the field other than for viewing. This means that teams will not be able to go on the field, nor will teams be able to interact with any of the field elements. More detailed information can be found in this blog.

Coaches and mentors serve a critical, guiding role on FIRST® teams. We thank you for giving your time, resources, and energy to making the team experience an amazing one for your youth team members.
We can help you keep your parents and your team members “in the know” and make sure they don’t miss out on any of the news and valuable information coming from FIRST.
Help improve our communication to FIRST youth team members and their parents by registering your team members in our system and guiding parents to complete the registration.
Why is this so important?
By registering your youth team members, you:
- Allow us to keep in touch with students about scholarships, internships and career opportunities
- Help us contact parents in case of emergencies
- Make it easier to create a team roster needed for events
- Provide FIRST with demographic data to help improve and grow our programs*
- Provide your team members with the ability to apply for some team awards
*FIRST uses youth information to understand who our programs are serving – ensuring that they are accessible to all. We also utilize aggregate information to meet sponsor requirements, such as the total number of team members and the percentage of boys and girls. Private information is not shared.

Inter-District Event Registration Open: District Teams can now register for events outside of their home Districts.
Initial Event Registration Payment Deadline: 1st Regional and 1st and 2nd District Event Registration must be secured by 5:00 PM ET on November 19, 2018. Please view the Pricing Structure and Payment Terms for more details. Please note that the following Districts will have their own payment terms and deadlines: FIRST® Israel, FIRST® Ontario District, and Pacific Northwest District.
Event Registration Closes on November 19 at 12:00 P.M. (noon) ET.
Don’t Forget to Select your Kit and Kick Off Preferences: To do so, please login to the Dashboard at www.firstinspires.org. Under the Team Events section, the Lead Coach/Mentor 1 or 2 will select “Event Options,” then “Kit & Kickoff.” All teams must complete their Kickoff selections for the 2019 season prior to Monday, November 19 at 12:00 P.M. (noon) ET.
