BOOMTOWN BUILD Inspire Set Bags
You will find labeled bags containing LEGO^® elements in your team’s Inspire Set box (build instructions are located here). Note that the bags labeled “1”,”2”, “3” and one unlabeled bag contain elements that kids need to build the BOOMTOWN BUILD Inspire Model (a crane/elevator) as part of Sessions 2 and 4 in the Team Meeting Guide, so be sure to set aside these bags until then. The language in page 8 of the Team Meeting Guide may be misleading – note that all bags labeled “4” can be used as part of your team model and can be used throughout the sessions as instructed.  These bags can be opened at any time.

All registered teams will be receiving the Inspire Set, two Team Meeting Guides for the coach/teacher, and Engineering Notebooks for each student at the shipping address specified during registration.

 

Wondering where your materials are? We’ll send an email when they’re on their way! Once you receive the email you can sign in to your FIRST^® Dashboard to check the tracking information.

 

Are your lead mentors screened? FIRST requires teams to have two screened lead mentors to be eligible to register for official FIRST events. Don’t delay and risk your team missing out on the fun!

To order your background screening visit our www.firstinspires.org website to log into your FIRST Dashboard; select the white triangle next to “Hello, (your name)” in the upper right-hand corner, and select Youth Protection Screening from the list.  Ordering takes less than 5 minutes, your Social Security Number is not required, and the cost is covered by FIRST.
