FIRST Certified Professional Development 

If you want hands-on FIRST^® LEGO^® League training, consider signing up for our professional development. Registration is open now for in-person training this spring and summer.  

Check out Professional Development in Houston, April 17-18, 2023. Email firsteducation@firstinspires.org if you'd like to attend but need a scholarship to cover the seat cost.

FIRST^® LEGO^® League Discover is a playful introductory STEM program for children ages 4-6 that ignites their natural curiosity and builds their habits of learning with hands-on activities in the classroom and uses family engagement activities to extend learning at home using LEGO^® DUPLO^® bricks.

Celebration Events

What can be greater than celebrating your students' hard work? Doing it through a culminating event! FIRST Education has developed guides to walk you through how to host your very own celebration and allow the students to show off their hard work. 

FIRST^® LEGO^® League Challenge Class Pack

Library Grant Opportunity

The American Association of School Librarians has grant opportunities to help promote STEM education and student interest in STEM careers. These grants also offer school librarians the opportunity to collaborate with community partners, curate STEM resources for their school community, and be an engaging and inviting leader.

Important things to note:

✏️ Must be a U.S. public school library serving grades 6-12

✏️ Program/event must take place in the 2023-2024 school year

✏️ The maximum amount awarded is $3,000

Deadline: April 11, 2023
