On September 7, we launched the 2024-2025 FIRST^® Tech Challenge INTO THE DEEP^SM presented by RTX season. FIRST Tech Challenge teams around the world will dive their robots into the depths of the ocean to explore the unknown and reveal its wonders. Students, ages 12–18, will collaborate and innovate as they design, build, program, and operate robots to set the stage in a thrilling head-to-head challenge.

FIRST is excited to introduce a new introductory robotics engineering explorations course for grades 7-12. Using FIRST Tech Challenge or FIRST^® Robotics Competition materials, this curriculum explores concepts of the engineering design process, engineering in our society, building a robot, and computational thinking while aligning to various national standards.

The final 2024 #HalfMyDAF drawing is just around the corner. Be a part of the movement and commit to spending down your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) by September 27, 2024, and all the grants you make to FIRST or other nonprofits are eligible for a match from #HalfMyDAF.  

Every grant is eligible for up to $5,000 in dollar-for-dollar matching funds. Additionally, #HalfMyDAF will randomly select two organizations for a $25,000 match.
