FIRST^® Leadership Award - Nominate your outstanding student today!

Recognize an inspiring student on your team who demonstrates the qualities of a FIRST^® Tech Challenge leader and ambassador. We are accepting FIRST Leadership Award nominations until Tuesday, December 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Nominations can be made by right from your team dashboard by clicking the “FIRST Leadership Award Submission” button. FIRST Leadership Award nominations are open to studends in grades 10 or 11. Read the FIRST Leadership Award Nomination Guide for all nomination requirements and complete nomination instructions.

Submit your nomination before December 15. Please email us with any questions at FTC-LeadershipAward@firstinspires.org.

Tech Tip: New for FIRST Tech Challenge - AprilTag Clusters
At Kickoff, did you see the AprilTags under each HIVE CELL and say to yourself, "I wonder why there's 4 of them?" These AprilTags are part of a new multi-tag tracking technique known as "AprilTag Clusters" and it's designed to give you a more accurate and more reliable goal targeting experience when using a simple webcam with the FTC SDK. Unfortunately this new feature also required a breaking change in FTC SDK v12.0, this change requires some maintenance to update existing programs that use AprilTags.
