FIRST® announced a milestone in its FIRST Scholarship Program: In 2017, $50 million in college scholarship opportunities are being made available by nearly 200 Scholarship Providers to FIRST participants and Alumni.
Teams will soon dive into the water journey with FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. – AQUA ADVENTURE℠ and FIRST® LEGO® League – HYDRO DYNAMICS℠. Go behind the scenes with FIRST and LEGO® Education as they create the Challenges.
In March and April, FIRST® Robotics Competition teams will compete in more than 140 events – including one brand-new Regional in Waco, Texas, where three close-knit teams are excited to welcome more teams into their community.
This season, FIRST Alumni make up 58 percent of AmeriCorps VISTA members for FIRST. From building sustainable teams in Title I schools in New York City to helping teams in rural Arizona obtain parts, FIRST VISTAs support underserved areas.
