Free Training on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) is a core component of our work and culture here at FIRST®. However, we realize there is much more work to do. We must, can, and will be doing more. We hope you join us as we learn and grow.

If you’re looking for an action to take right now to support ED&I within the FIRST community, we encourage everyone, from staff to our youth participants, to be engaged in ongoing conversations and use our free online trainings developed with the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE), Kids Included Together (KIT), and our ED&I Youth Advisory Committee

FIRST inspires students to be forces for change in their communities

Star Wars actors Daisy Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, and Oscar Isaac highlighted a few of the FIRST teams tackling challenges raised by the COVID-19 pandemic in a video message to the FIRST community last month. Watch their message.

Dean Kamen founded FIRST to inspire young people to become science and technology innovators and leaders, ready to solve the world’s greatest challenges. In 2020, you've seen FIRST students and alumni use their FIRST-built skills for good. If you’re able to make a donation to the FIRST mission at this time, you can help us raise future scientists and innovators ready to solve all the world's challenges.
