At the third annual FIRST® Inspire Gala, 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, and FIRST Alum Chelsea Roebuck were recognized for their efforts to promote awareness of, and expand access to, STEM education. Funds raised will continue to further the mission of FIRST, including supporting the FIRST STEM Equity Community Innovation Grants.

Now Accepting Applications for the 2018 FIRST STEM Equity Community Innovation Grants

The FIRST STEM Equity Community Innovation Grants are designed to bring high-quality STEM opportunities to underrepresented and underserved students in the U.S. and Canada. These grants provide the support and resources necessary to increase access to FIRST programs and develop models for inclusive practices. Letters of intent will be accepted through November 22, 2017.
