FIRST Welcomes FedEx, Two Sigma, and Yale Leaders to Board of Directors
FIRST has announced the election of three new members to the FIRST Board of Directors: Virginia Addicott, president and CEO of FedEx Custom Critical, Inc., in Green, Ohio; David Siegel, co-chairman of Two Sigma Investments in New York City; and Dr. Vincent Wilczynski, deputy dean of the Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Students Recognized for Innovations in Animal Interaction at FIRST® LEGO® League Global Innovation Award
Students’ inspired ideas to improve how humans interact with animals were recognized at the seventh annual FIRST® LEGO® League Global Innovation Award ceremony last month. Twenty FIRST LEGO League teams were honored by Dean Kamen, inventor and founder of FIRST. Canadian team The Hydrators took home the top prize: a cash award of $20,000 to help further their automated water post solution.
