FIRST® Headquarters Closing for U.S. Labor Day Holiday
FIRST Headquarters will be closed on Monday, September 3 in recognition of the U.S. Labor Day holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 4.

Ken Johnson, our FIRST® Tech Challenge Director, will be on our Twitch show, with David Price, our Volunteer of the Year, going over some important kickoff information and an exciting secret announcement! Tune in on Tuesday, September 4th at 7pm ET to learn more!
Kickoff is Coming!
Our season kickoff is at 12 noon ET, on Saturday, September 8! We’re excited to release our Game Manual Part 2 on our website as well as our other game specific materials! Make sure to check out our website and find a kickoff event near you so you can see the game and field in person and connect with your Affiliate Partner and other teams in your area! You’ll also want to register for the 2018-2019 season so you can get your robot kit, and it can’t hurt to tell your friends that we’re offering rookie grants to need-based teams this year!
FIRST Tech Challenge Rookie Grants
The DEKA Foundation has generously funded our FIRST Tech Challenge Rookie Team Grant. Please share this information with any new interested teams or with any potentially new teams at your FIRST Tech Challenge outreach and kickoff events. This grant will cover the $275 registration fee and $225 worth of product. Please visit our website for more information about our 2018-2019 FIRST Tech Challenge Rookie Grant.
