FIRST Championship and District Championship Registration Process: If a team qualifies at an event to attend either the 2018 FIRST Championship or their District Championship, they will receive an email no later than the Monday following the conclusion of the qualifying event inviting them to register for the event through a special invitation link.
Please review the information below to ensure that you have the correct information and deadlines for your team.
Any team qualifying for a District Championship or FIRST Championship at an event held during Week 1-4 (prior to 3/26):
The team will be invited by email to register for the event by Noon Eastern Time on either the Monday or the first weekday following the conclusion of the qualifying event. Teams will have until 5:00PM Eastern Time on the Wednesday after they receive their email from FIRST to register and secure their event registration fee.*
Any team qualifying for a District Championship or FIRST Championship at an event held Week 5 or later (after 3/26):
The team will be invited by email to register for the event by Noon Eastern Time on the day following the conclusion of the qualifying event. Teams will have until 5:00PM Eastern Time on the Tuesday after they receive their email from FIRST to secure their event registration fee.*
*Note: Ontario and Pacific Northwest District Teams have their own Championship payment system. They should receive emails from their Districts with payment details.
Once registered for the event, teams must secure payment for registration or prior to the deadline provided in the invitation email. Teams can submit payment for the event through the
Dashboard or by contacting
