ROVER RUCKUS Presented by Qualcomm Blasts Off Saturday
Our season kickoff is at 12 noon ET, on Saturday, September 8! We’re excited to release our Game Manual Part 2 and our kickoff game animation video on our website, as well as our other game specific materials!
Make sure to find a kickoff event near your team so that you can see the game and field in person and connect with your Affiliate Partner and other teams in your area! Don’t forget to #makeitloud for our brand new ROVER RUCKUS presented by Qualcomm season and tag @FTCteams in all your social media posts! Our kickoff hashtags are #ROVERRUCKUS and #FIRSTLaunch2019. Once this year’s 2018-2019 game is revealed, you’ll want to register for the 2018-2019 season so you can get your robot kit, and get started on your season!

We want to help teams prepare for their mission the best way possible. So, this Saturday after kickoff, at 12:15 p.m. EDT, we are launching the ROVER RUCKUS Game Set Sweepstakes! We are giving away five partial 2018-2019 season game fields and scoring elements. If you complete your FIRST Tech Challenge team registration, you’re automatically entered to win. FIRST Tech Challenge Rookie Grants
The DEKA Foundation has generously funded our FIRST Tech Challenge Rookie Team Grant. Please share this information with any new interested teams or with any potentially new teams at your FIRST Tech Challenge outreach and kickoff events. This grant will cover the $275 registration fee and $225 worth of product. |
